Winter Cottage Girl

This morning, my daughter woke up with a stuffy nose, and tired eyes. Of course, as soon as the bell rung and she wasn't at school her energy levels miraculously picked up.

And as I pondered if I should let her stay home and rest, or push her to head to school - the sunrise turned some magnificent colors and I thought that was a sign.

We rushed home to figure out a quick outfit (that skirt is actually an adult's skirt hiked all the way up to her armpits) and made sure she was layered up. Then quickly off to a location to catch the last hints of pink in the sky, before it was gone for the day.

I am so happy with this quick little session. The sky was beautiful and it was a fun moment we really needed together.

Sunrise winter sessions may need to become a staple in my sessions soon!
